Deployment of Emergency Services

KBR have undertaken successful trials with fire service authorities utilising town wide mesh infrastructures we have previously installed to connect back from incidents such as accident black spots. To prove the technologies. trials were run in areas with known line-of-sight issues. Connections were obtained successfully and video images were beamed back to headquarters.

It addition we have conducted trials running a local mesh around an incident command vehicle. The command vehicle was fitted with LCD displays screening images from several fixed and body worn cameras. Fire fighters took the thermal body worn cameras into smoke chambers and video images were again beamed, via the command vehicle, to the head quarters for interaction via an electronic white board.
